Important to note that this poll asks "who should be the nominee" and not "for whom would you vote."

Major difference.

Important to note: this is their poll done with the Hill, not Rasmussen. Also, Harris is at 11% in this poll. Still no change from last time, but you have her listed at 10%. Full numbers with change below.

Sample size of 446 registered voters, conducted July 12th to 13th. Change is from their previous poll conducted two weeks ago.

Biden — 29% (-4%)
Sanders — 16% (+1%)
Harris — 11% (±0)
Warren — 9% (±0)
O'Rourke — 3% (-1%)
Buttigieg — 1% (-5%)
Booker — 1% (-1%)
Bullock — 1% (±0)
Gabbard — 1% (±0)
Moulton — 1% (+1%)
Gillibrand — 1% (±0)
Klobuchar — 1% (+1%)
Ryan — 1% (+1%)
de Blasio — 1% (+1%)
Delaney — 1% (+1%)
Gravel — 1% (±0)
Messam — 1% (+1%)
Castro — 1% (±0)
Hickenlooper — 0% (±0)
Steyer — 0% (-)
Williamson — 0% (±0)
Sestak — 0% (±0)
Bennet — 0% (-1%)
Yang — 0% (-1%)

Right. Harris and Warren are in 2nd and 3rd at this point.

Typical swing voters. It's like the race reset to early June all of a sudden if this poll is enough to go off of.

Based on what? The three of them are very closely bunched together.

This seems like an outlier, but definitely more proof that Harris isn't able to indefinitely pull Biden supporters.

This race is still Biden's to lose, but I think the debates have shaken him into shape. As I thought, the Harris swipe was a temporary setback. That being said, the primaries are still very far out, so anything can happen.

Way too early to say a temporary setback. He is far too "moderate" for where the party is moving which is hilarious because he isn't that moderate. This is the same guy who said the GOP would put blacks back in chains. Seriously he says said all kinds of stuff where if Trump said it would be 24/7 non stop negative coverage.  If the left consolidates around Harris, Warren or Sanders he is done politically.
