Even if this is just Biden being Biden, and has nothing to do with his age, this is something he and his campaign need to address. If he's the nominee, you all know that Republicans would flood the airwaves with every gaffe he's ever made, and that's something which actually could hurt him.
it would be a great form of irony if his gaffes ended up costing him a general election vs Trump, especially considering that he was part of the campaign that tried to turn "binders full of women" into a scandal

these gaffes have really only started since his campaign has given him more public events, he was in the 30's when they were trying the weekend at Bernie's strategy, what made them think increasing his campaigning was a good idea?

People'd start to wonder why he isn't doing much if he kept that up for too long.

Besides the 30's was always artificially high for such a crowded field, he was going to fall a bit anyway.

This probably implicates Biden's brother (Billy Carter 2.0?) more than him, but I am anticipating the Republican character assassination machine to try to turn this into his email scandal and end up being successful at it.

Wow, on top of the Hunter Biden Ukraine/China issues. He really has used his office to enrich his family.

This clip alone should end his campaign.

It'll be hard to attack Trump on mental instability and corruption with Biden as the nominee.

This actually makes me sad. I hope Elizabeth Warren thanks him for his many years of service to the Democratic Party as she accepts the nomination.

Moving to Warren now. I have given Biden every single benefit of the doubt and then some, but we simply can not have a candidate who has trouble getting his words out. This is one of our strongest points against Trump, after all. I still love Uncle Joe like, well, an uncle, but unless he can return to his 2012 self in terms of agility and speaking capabilities, I am not coming back to him.

So let's see our frontrunner for the Democratic nominee is:

a.) noticeably aging and experiencing signs of weakness because of it
b.) tied with a scandal about using one's name to enrich personal adventures
c.) running a campaign emphasized on Trump's personal character and is trying to appeal to Republicans

Does this sound like "the most electable" Democrat to you or does it sound like someone who's name rhymes with Clillary Hinton?

And take it from a Clinton/not-Biden voter, there was a lot more to like about Clinton in 2016 than there is about Biden today. Clinton at the very least stood for something. A lot of people might think what she stood for was stupid, or that she didn't really mean it, but what does Biden stand for that will get anybody excited?

This clip alone should end his campaign.

Is this his old stutter coming back?

Non-political junkies are just starting to pay attention now.  He won't be the frontrunner for long.  This is not a winning campaign.

I think Biden is having memory issue but this clip is bullsh**t. The man has suffered from stuttering his entire life and that is what is happening here. It's just his speech impediment. Bernie would be embarrassed that his supporters are posting that and twisting it.

Biden is a good person with upstanding character. Hillary wasn't. And Biden is likeable unlike Hillary.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Biden has a speech impediment.  He can't think as fast as he talks, and it causes him to stutter, stumble, and mix up words and numbers.

Biden is also a natural politician and has a seat-of-the-pants speaking style that makes him seem much more natural and personable; it also means he occasionally starts sentences without knowing how to finish them, and includes minor details that he's not 100% on.

Once you get this, literally every Biden gaffe becomes easily-understandable.

Right now there is a very intense campaign on Twitter and Reddit (by the Sanders campaign) and on Fox News (by supporters of Team Trump) to highlight every Biden gaffe, take it out of context in the most damaging possible way, and use it as evidence that Biden has Alzheimers or some other mental disorder.  It's a cruel campaign whose sole purpose is to humiliate the former VP.

Weird, I kinda get the feeling that all of it would stop if the former VP was not an active candidate for President.

You think Americans will care about this long winded explanation? Anything that takes longer than 2 seconds to explain will go in one ear and out the other.

After the Pelosi fake from earlier this year I don't believe any of these lengthy clips of people stuttering.

This isn't even very bad.  I didn't watch it earlier but now that I have this doesn't concern me at all plus I like the substance of his answer

Yeah, he stutters sometimes.  I really don't care.
