A true hot take from a secular perspective is that pork was still eatable for a non medicinal reason and giving different foods to this person because of some "imaginary" being they believe in lies contrary to a secular government. For example see medical vs religious exemptions for vaccinations.

If this was a supermax for criminals or some sh.t like that I might be more receptive, but for any other case, no.

You probably feel the same way about, say, bakers asked to make a cake, but who object because of some "imaginary" being they believe in, right?

I’m pretty sure that even supermax facilities provide religious accommodations for prisoner’s meals.
