Governor Bullock is doing well for his first-ever Presidential primary debate.
He's doing the same moderate populist thing as Ryan, Hickenlooper, etc, but doing a much, much better job with it.

Bernie sanders position on healthcare is abused

Delaney is right

Why shouldn’t people be able to choose to keep a private plan?

Having rich healthy people on a separate insurance pool basically would make a government run health care plan a glorified high risk pool with inflated costs since the people on it are disproportionately unhealthy.

But you could have a system where people are allowed to keep their plans, but the government option would have zero premiums/deductibles and be paid out of general tax coffers. The rich healthy ppl you mention would still be paying the increased taxes.

He's the only on the stage that has ever been in a competitive race.

Bernie has been in a lot of competitive races... as the third party spoiler.

Also Warren, obviously. And O'Rourke, obviously. And Hickenlooper (twice). And Delaney. And Klobuchar (for Hennepin County Attorney).

What the hell are you talking about, actually?

I like how the director desperately told the moderator to cut off Marianne before she started talking about chemtrails.

Also Warren obviously.

Bernie won the 1981 Burlington mayor race by 10 votes, and his 1988 (lost) and 1994 (won) House races were also close. It was actually the Democratic candidate who spoiled the 1988 race.

Sure but not sure how many would actually keep their plans in that case.

I love Steve Bullock now. I used to think he paled in comparison to Brian Schweitzer, but this is incredible.

I understand that he is the most left-wing anchor they have, but what were the idiots at CNN thinking when they made Don Lemon the moderator?

Bullock is exactly right, gun violence needs to be looked at as a public health issue (imagine dealing with the NRA similar to how the country dealt with big tobacco).

Judging by the reaction on here, I’m going to like Steve Bullock on immigration and other issues when I get home and actget a chance to watch it.
