I have introduced four bills so far:

1. Economic Freedom Zones Act
2. Decriminalizing Drugs Act (Phase I)
3. Legal Tender Act
4. Amend the bill of rights

My recent votes:

1. Appreciate Our Teachers Act

Reasoning: There are better ways to fund this and tying salary increases to performance is not a good way to improve education.

2. Respecting the Result of the Southern Flag Referendum Act

Reasoning: Let regions make decisions about their culture

Carbon Tax of 2019
Vote: Nay

Reason: I oppose any increase in the overall tax burden of southerners. There are better ways to raise revenue and address environmental concerns.

This is a big step towards fighting climate change, secondly the tax is designed to discourage people from using carbon

There is already a Federal carbon tax. Not surprised to see that Socialist NJ Comrade is advocating putting a great big new tax on everything when there is already a tax imposed at the federal level.

This was already discussed in during 14th Chamber. The South already has the biggest Nuclear Power plant in the world and then SNUSNU will further improve our nuclear power program. Which means there are already things happening to combat climate change.

Invest in resources that are alternatives to carbon use

Well, you need to pay for that investment, which means tax increases or cuts elsewhere

We can encourage the private sector to invest. I wouldn't mind using current government resources to invest in alternatives to carbon either so yes, I would cut from waste somewhere else or raise revenue without raising taxes.

So, then would you support a cap-and-trade system, similar to the one proposed in 2010

Asian Carp act of 2019

No. It was costly, too many unintended consequences, and would be detrimental to our economy

With 4 votes, I think it is safe to say my Amending the Bill of Rights Act in the South will pass. I believe governor YT will sign it. Great victory for liberty!

I think they limit PMs from new members for fear of porn spam. I think if you get above 20 that is removed.

Hey man. Yeah Atlas has a post requirement for private messages. You should be able to post after you make some more.

As for the game, welcome!

Here is the thread where you sign up.

https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=301814.2000

Just post your username, the state you want to be apart of which puts you in a specific region(Fremont/Lincoln/South), and post Federalist Party to join. I recommend registering in a state where that would put you in the Fremont region

Here's an example:
DeadPrez
Colorado (Fremont)
Federalist Party

The chair of our party is Southern Senator North Carolina Yankee
The vice-chair of our party is LouisvilleThunder. He's also a senator.

We have a variety of caucuses you can join as well ranging from the moderate caucus to the pro-life caucus.

This is the wikipedia page for our game if you want more information. Once you post more, I can give you a link to our party's discord channel.
