It's all part of the Democrat multi-pronged attack on free speech across numerous internet platforms.  Reddit is not the only platform that experienced pressure to remove Donald Trump content, and they won't be the last.  Democrats lost the debate so they want to completely cut off the debate.  They want to cut off lines of communication and information between Donald Trump supporters.  This is how they intend to do it.  They'll lie to you by advocating removal due to violations of rules, but we all know that Democrats break the same rules at three times the rate.

Edit: no it's fine,  send all these folks to 4chan or the dark web and they can cheer on the next Christchurch shooter or whatever.  That sounds like a great idea.

Eh, no. The reason The_Donald is as big as it is is because reddit provides an environment that is conducive to building mini-forums. I'm sure some of them would rebuild elsewhere, but it would never be as big as it once was. Probably not even close. And if it's on the dark web, it'll be far, far smaller. TOR is slow and an enigma to most people.

 Taking away mainstream platforms from violent stupid trolls effectively throws them into a smaller box where they eventually turn on each other. We've seen this time and time again, so let's continue to do this.
