Apologies if there is already a thread on this subject, but I didn't see a direct topic on this item.

Although much of the American Public is not yet aware of the photos and reports of inhumane conditions at "Child Detention Centers" in Texas, this is likely to be a topic in Houses of Worship this coming Weekend....

Jews and Muslims traditionally celebrate the Holy Date starting Friday Evening and through Sunset on Saturday.

Catholic houses of worship might start with a Saturday Night Mass, and then a Sunday Daytime Mass, and even an evening Sunday Mass to allow access to all members of the faith....

Protestant Houses of worship might well vary depending upon size of the congregation....

Mormons, I believe typically observe Sunday as the day of rest....

Regardless, faith based organizations regardless of partisan affiliation nor religious sectarianism frequently use religious ceremonies to comment upon the major issues of the time within their respective congregations....

The issue involving not only family separation of minors entering the United States, but perhaps most significantly the way in which these minors are being treated, will likely be an issue addressed in religious services throughout the United States this coming Friday > Sunday.

Traditionally, in most cities and among most denominations and religions in the US there are conversations about "hot topics" of the day as part of "Interfaith organizations" to prevent support for religious intolerance against various other religious communities.

This is the type of item I suspect will be brought up in many Houses of worship (Especially in border states) this coming weekend.

How heavily will current Administration policies get hit (Regardless of the origins of such policies) when it comes to basically failing to protect the rights of Minors in US detention facilities?

How might that feedback cause changes in the current Administration policy, especially with Pence and Evangelical White and Catholic Christians having a significant indirect influence?
