Great to see NRATV go kaput.

SuperBeets pitchwoman and serial liar Dana Loesch's gonna have to find a new media gig in addition to her radio show.

Conservatives seem to hate the NRA these days anyway, many view it as a leftist organization (if Youtube and Breitbart comments are anything to go by).

By what earthly measure is the NRA leftist?

Ask the lunatics in the Breitbart comment sections.

As for the Narodni Rifle Association -- don't let the door hit you on the way to the trash-heap of history. It's not been good to know you.

the powerhouse of NRATV has shut down, oh dear.....wait what is NRATV?  Is it a network?  Or a YouTube channel?  Or?  Where did one watch NRATV?  I tried to Google this, but....ahhh, here we are, it was a streaming channel.  Apparently some dummies thought people watching gun nerds play with guns might make them go crazy and hurt people (unlike all the other media that has "cool" people hurting other people with guns, but whatever, ignorance is going to ignorant) so they had Amazon take it off their service.  Had anybody heard of this entity before this thread?

Huge win for the gun control crowd.  Great job guys!

My thoughts -

1) Libertarians are beginning to get a reputation that the only reason why people want guns that are "above and beyond" hunting or immediate self-defense is to play with them. That's not a good reason to own a semi-automatic hunting rifle or a weapon with other advanced capabilities. It's good politics to bring down the channel.

2) That the NRA is truly becoming unpopular in general or at least less powerful in the Republican Party or/and in general, the broader and less organized "right-of-center". They may just be trying to balance the books with less coming in.
                 The possibilities here are that-
Gun control is becoming more popular
As Nationalism is becoming more catered to, Libertarianism is becoming less and less a driving force in the right-of-center in general as 2008 and 2012 illustrated that libertarians "don't deliver" and 2014 and 2016 showed that nationalism can.

Don’t get me wrong, the NRA has a yuge presence, but NRA TV was merely an annoying side project that didn’t have anywhere near the pull or influence  that most of our lefty posters want to ascribe to it.

While I support their right to do so, culturally, there are few subcultures worse than libertarian bearded gun nuts who own a zillion guns.

I agree entirely. I’m as pro-gun as you can be, but I find guns to be boring outside of hunting. Actually my brother and I both get extremely uncomfortable around guns, mainly because my dad lost like three friends to gun related accidents in the 70s and 80s.

My brother knows some rich Boca kids who like to carry guns around because they sell weed. I’d get, say, my brother’s pushers carrying a gun. They usually operate out of flop houses in the hood. But all these rich kids with their fast cars and pistols are eventually going to hurt themselves or someone else accidentally. At least the neckbeard libertarian gun nuts usually act responsibly with their firearms.

Chris Cox also is resigning from the NRA.   Things are going down in flames fast over there.

The only way to stop bad people with a streaming/television network is with infighting and internal corruption...wait, I think I got that wrong...

The only thing that can stop a bad organisation with a network is a good organisation with a network.
