Dems best bet is to get Rashurn Baker to run for MD Gov, only black that will win statewide governorship, aside from Deval Patrick

Dem prez: DeSantis +9
Trump reelected: DeSantis +4

Dems might be locked out from FL Gov Mansion up until 2030 or beyond, because 2026 is most likely a Dem midterm regardless of how 2020 goes. TX-Gov could flip earlier. GA certainly will.

TX-GOV flipping is not happening

Not in 2022, but 2026 or later. I wouldn't be surprised if Dems manage to elect a gov in TX before FL.

Only if Abbott retires and Julian Castro runs for Gov

This is why he was talked out of running for president.  Now, he wants to run for Gov

FL is an immigrant state and we will see if it comes back to Dems like it did in 2008 and 2012. Trump is down by almost 10 points to all of his Dem opponents. Hopefully, FL votes Democratic

DeSantis and Rubio are gonna be easily reelected.  Cant say the same about DeWine or Portman if Tim Ryan gets into the race against either one. But, Portman has a 40% approval
