I honestly can't see what everyone is talking about with Warren and low energy. She's been pretty enthusiastic during the debate and ready to answer any question without much platitudes unlike O'Rourke. Reinforcing her status as the correct frontrunner for me.

Yeah I don't either. Warren is speaking and answering well.

Beto is not debating well, but his answers are all getting enthusiastic responses. We'll see what the polls do.

When Delaney says bipartisan he means do whatever the Republicans want.

Castro is the surprise candidate of the night.

Yeah, it seems Hillary should've picked him. Looks like he would've stopped Pence in his tracks.
He’s definitely going to gain some traction. Probably at the expense of Beto.

Trump would destroy all of these candidates in a debate.  Trump vs. Warren or Beto would be an utter embarrassment lol
Trump never destroys in debates unless they are rep primary were saying “brown people bad” gives him a 5 minute ovation he can feed off.

Right. Trump's pettiness only really works in primary debates and he's got no substance to beat anyone in a general election debate.

Is it fair to say that Beto has blown his chance completely?

Is it just me, or did none of these candidates give a single solid explanation for how they'd deal with McConnell?

Yeah. Surprising he didn't suggest yoga for fun owners as a method of fun control.

I think so, and unfortunately this probably makes it harder for him to drop into TX-SEN.

He's on my "just for Trump and hope for a good six year itch" list for sure now.

Is it just me, or did none of these candidates give a single solid explanation for how they'd deal with McConnell?

It's not you. And it's a bummer, because this is the first really big question asked the whole night.

Yeah, honestly - we think he's doing poorly because we watch this and digest and dissect all the time. But he hasn't done anything to kill his candidacy. No soundbite, video, etc. He'll be in it at least til Iowa.
