Definite FF in my opinion,


I find much of the criticism he gets by posters to be completely wrong. The fact is he is a very principled and independent-minded poster who is willing to criticize any politician who violates them. He votes for members of both parties all the time and I would say is one of the most swingy type voter we have on here.

You can disagree with Fuzzy, I have many times but thats ok , whats not ok is smearing him over it.

Just another deplorable in the basket. From what I've read in most of his posts, he seems to think that only heterosexual white evangelical Christian Republicans are ever persecuted. Much like how jfern always manages to derail threads with his typical "but Hillary!" crap, Fuzzy seems to typically deflect about how religious right snowflakes are the real victims. This whole "we are being persecuted because we aren't allowed to persecute people" from "Christians" is really getting old. Maybe because I'm surrounded by people who share his warped worldview that's why I feel the way I do about him. Other than that, I'm sure he's a great person.

This is absolutely wrong , I have a question for you what do you think his voting record has been since 2004 and who do you think he voted for in the 2018 Midterms

If he did not repeatedly insist that Michael Brown robbed a gas station (which has been debunked even by Fox News) and beat up a woman (which I think Fuzzy must have just made up, since I can't even find a fake news site claiming he did), this might be a tough choice. But the whole thing is a microcosm of the way he interacts with everyone here. He's objectively wrong, and people have gone to great lengths to demonstrate that to him (but remaining respectful in the process), but the more proof we provide, the harder he digs in. Then a few weeks or months later, he posts it again in another unrelated thread as if the whole previous discussion never happened.

Maybe he's going senile? It would explain a lot. He also regularly forgets that some Polynesian societies have 3 genders.

I think he brings a valuable perspective to the forum, and I tend to enjoy reading it even if I'm not as socially conservative as him. And I have a great deal of respect for him based off the sacrifices he has detailed making for his family.

Actually the exact opposite and his voting record proves it. He voted for Obama in 2012 and Gillum/Nelson in 2018.


And if you saying its hypocritical to be pro life and also conservative on issues of healthcare well Fuzzy is super liberal on the issue of healthcare as he supports Single Payer.

Seems to have constructed this meta-narrative in his head where, rather than being an objective and open-minded observer of current events, there is instead a "narrative" and an "echo chamber" that go against his group interests. So instead of being curious and keeping an open mind, he has anointed himself defender of the white evangelical who is engaged in battle to the death with his enemies. It absolves him from good faith and leads him to make incredibly dumb, specious, and often factually incorrect arguments. Any concession that his side may not be right is met with "both sides" in order to save the face of his coalition. When (repeatedly) confronted with evidence that he is wrong he ignores it and parrots the later.

I found his posts interesting when I first joined this site but he sucks now. He's incredibly intellectually dishonest, rarely insightful, and at this point very predictable. I am sad at how he's been corrupted by white grievance politics and culture war.
