I am happy somebody is so so excited about paying more tolls. Especially when they’re from Pennsylvania.

I do not partake is the environmentally destructive activity of automobile usage. If a place is unwalkable or unbikable (I love my bike!), it is not worth going to.

(I do live in the city's biggest train station, but that is in case of time constraints. I wouldn't cheat on my bike unless absolutely necessary.)

Quote
A play-by-play of the Trump-Pelosi drama that unfolded today.
Per CNN.

Here's how it all went down:

First, Pelosi met with Democrats: This morning, the Speaker of the House met with members of her party. The meeting came as more Democrats call for Congress to start impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

After the meeting: Pelosi called the meeting a "respectful sharing of ideas," and insisted that Trump has "engaged in a cover-up" — but she did not say where she stands on impeachment now.

Then, she went to the White House: Pelosi, alongside Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, went to the White House to talk about infrastructure with Trump. The President cut that meeting short (it lasted just five minutes) after telling them he can not work with Democrats as they continue investigation against him.

That's when Trump went to the Rose Garden: Moments after the Pelosi meeting, Trump called a spontaneous speech in the Rose Garden. He said he doesn't "do cover-ups," called the Russian investigation a "takedown attempt" and attacked Democrats and the media.

And then Pelosi talked about infrastructure: Soon after Trump's remarks to the media, Pelosi and Schumer held their own briefing. Pelosi began by talking about infrastructure — the topic she was supposed to address with Trump.

Since all that unfolded: Pelosi spoke at a Center for American Progress event and called the five-minute meeting with Trump "very, very, very strange" and "sad" — but said she wasn't surprised it happened. Meanwhile, Trump tweeted that Democratic leadership is tearing the US apart. "So sad that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will never be able to see or understand the great promise of our Country," he said.

That would make a good play title.  It's like "Twelve Angry Men" adjusted for inflation.

That was one of the saddest stunts by a President who has used the White House as the backdrop for a lot of his ridiculous stunts.

If Trump wasn't such a moron, he would have done infrastructure when he first took office back in 2017.

Triggered snowflake.

Infrastructure needs to be done sooner or later, that's a fact. I read somewhere that facts don't care about your feelings, so...

GUYS

Have any of the news people said "Trump seems more interested in burning bridges than rebuilding them" yet?

I just thought of it and I’m happy for them to use it with my permission.
