 Rudy has always been a cretin. In NYC he was loathed by the non-white portion of the city. He was popular with whites and outer boroughs because he was "tough on crime" and "cleaned the city up" and he wasn't shy about taking all the credit for the crime drop even firing those who were more responsible than he was(if at all) from getting credit.

 He was always a nutjob though, just google the old call-in radio shows he used to do as mayor. He also has been corrupt and incompetent for most of his political career. The reason he was running around ground zero after 9/11 was because the terrorism command center was in the World Trade Center, The New York Police Department produced a detailed analysis in 1998 opposing plans by the city to locate its emergency command center at the World Trade Center, but the Giuliani administration overrode those objections. The command center later collapsed from damage in the Sept. 11 terrorist attack. Mind you this was after the WTC has already been the site of a previous attack, the bombing in the parking garage.
 
 The firefighters on 9/11 also had janky radios that didn't work and were known not to work but that didn't matter to Rudy and instead he gave Motorola a no bid $14 million contract where the FDNY was not allowed to test and compete different radio models. Many of the firefighters believe this led to the unnecessary loss of life on that day.

Don't worry, I'm sure the Trump lackeys (whether it be Giuliani, the Justice Department, or Senate Republicans) will come up with some kind of high crimes and misdemeanors to try to pin on whoever the Democratic frontrunner/nominee is.  That's how healthy democracies should function, you see.

The point of Giuliani little "operation" is to send a STRONG signal to Russians that Trump again welcomes the dirt on Dem Candidate (presumably Biden).

If there is any dirt in Ukraine, Russians will find it. If not, they will make it up!  Pacman
