I thought the Atlas was all basement dwelling neckbeards? Congrats to all of you for smashing the stereotype.

Not as much as I was a few months ago. You need to be well rested to both exercise every day and not pass out in the Walmart parking lot (as I discovered in April) but with my schedule getting any more than 4-5 hours of sleep a night isn't an option at this point. It's bumming me out tho, I love exercising.

In the past month or so it's probably been once or twice a week. Before that it was 6 or 7 days a week.

Being in the presence of dumb NYC progressives all the time is such a strain, that technically speaking I'm exercising 24/7

Almost never. I lift weights on occasion, but that's only when I'm really bored while also watching something on TV. That's maybe once a week.

Pretty much every day. Only miss it for things like illness, injury, or some extraordinary schedule factor.

Go through phases a couple years ago I was working out quite often and got pretty lazy with that, although tried to get a bit of walking in pretty much every day (been at 10,000 steps every day sine Sept 1).

Right now it is 4 times a week as I am doing the LIIFT 4 program (in week 8 and will start it over again next week), but still making sure to get the steps in on the other days as well.

Weight lifting once a week.

Hiking one to twice a week.. except for some reason every time I take a hike I inevitably run into adorable but venomous snakes. Likely due to flooding to STL region right now.

Running or Jogging one or twice a week.

So 5 to 6 days a week on average.

Every day, actually, though I don't have a specific program.

What are the hiking pickings like around St. Louis?

Unrelated, I've become thoroughly bored with running/biking in my own neighborhood. Tongue

As somebody who lived in the midwest and thought the scarcity of good outdoor recreation was the worst part of living there, I am very curious to see the answer to this question.

That's what prompted my question. In Michigan the metro-Detroit state parks exist in what constitutes a twenty+ mile radius ring (I'm guessing here) around Detroit and there are of course no mountains or great wonders; they're about thirty minutes+ to get to from where I live and moreso from within Detroit itself.

I walk a lot, that's my main form of exercise (I'm easily capable of going on a two hour walk just because I feel like it; and then to get places I walk if possible, fortunately Europe is much more walkable than the US).
