My favorite Brit car has always been the MGB (pre rubber bumpers please)

If only it wasn't full of British made crap.  Thank Og Mazda made a good one 30 years later.

I respect the E-Type, of course, and it's the most iconic of the long hood, far back cockpit designed cars (which tend to be my favorite), but it's proportions always seemed "off" to me.  Especially in coupe form.
