For a hot, bad, or unpopular take that I myself believe: ~THE CONFLICT~ does not need to be and should not be a core leftist/progressive litmus test (although support for Netanyahu should obviously throw up red flags in the same way that support for other right-wing irredentist leaders does).

Why not? Not worshiping a concept but following a king is definitely the progressive way.

The Handmaid's Tale is a pretty stupid work in general. Even the most backwards, repressive and fundamentalist forms of Christianity have next to no resemblance to the regime of Gilead, and some aspects of it are just things that Margaret Atwood completely made up, for example literally no society of any religion or culture EVER has not allowed women to have their own names and only referred to them as the property of their husband.

Also no Christian group has ever supported a ban on women's literacy for centuries...well ever actually. It might not have been a high priority in medieval times, but it wasn't actually forbidden. (Plus most Catholic leaders then wanted most men to not be able to read as well, so the layity couldn't read the Bible on their own and wouldn't require church leaders telling them what to believe.)

It's vastly overgeneralizing and stereotypical starters. Indian Flute inability to discern differences between practices and beliefs of second generation Muslims in Suburban Portland versus lobbyist in Saudi Arabia is quintessentially anti-liberal.

And incidentally, I'm a convert from Catholicism to protestantism, and your attitude towards Catholicism smacks of bigotry as well.

The question wasn't "opinion of Muslims" though, it was "opinion of Islam".

If you go to a strip club, you should NOT seek out the hottest girl in the club for a private dance.

That "plain" or merely average looking girl? The reason she's there and making bank is she knows how to work with what she has. Her dance is far more likely to blow you away, one with model looks probably not only won't try as hard or even know how because she doesn't need to.

Oh yeah no matter how old you are, know this: a stripper well past 30 is going to be way more experienced than a college age one, and yes, that does matter as much as it does in other jobs. Even when I was in college I figured this out pretty early.

Been quite awhile since I've been to a strip club but I thought I'd drop this advice.
