I'm growing less and less likely to vote in 2020 with each passing week.

The concept of creating a new thread every time a previous thread reaches 2000 posts is a bad concept.

We should name this thread after Solid. (And that’s not a bad take, this is just the place to post about said thread’s name)

Yes, he's a moron who is full of terrible takes, including my favorite: "The most recent Repblican president who was not a racist was Dwight D. Eisenhower".

On that note, running on a platform that appeals to racists does not make someone racist.

Trump's obvious atheism is what gives me the most pause about my likely vote for him in 2020. A person with as much power as the US President needs to feel accountability to something greater than themselves.

And that something greater should be the US Constitution, the American people, and the rule of law.

Oh yeah, I agree on this. Trump pursues Christian policies, I think he genuinely does admire people of faith and views it as an admirable “trait”, but I’m 100% convinced he’s a nonbeliever himself. Much like Obama, who drew inspiration from the teachings of Christ while (most likely) holding skeptical views on the existence of God.

I honestly think even religious bigot leaders of the medieval era had a conscience awareness that God was not real. I cannot think of any other possible explanation as to why none of them ended up using a system where they decided all criminal cases by praying to God to "rig" a coin flip to an "accurate result" and then flipping a coin to decide innocence or guilt than that these leaders all knew deep down that God was not real.

Well in a purely neutral or a Trump favoring one  no , but remember IA has a tendency to swing hard from election to election . In 2018 IA swung pretty hard to the left and incumbency saved the GOP from losing The Gubernatorial race as well and Dems did better in overall house races as well . GA for sure on the other hand won’t vote Dem unless they are winning by  5 points nationally , while I can see them winning IA in some cases (Biden being the nominee ) .

His atheism isn't what causes him to hold no accountability, it's his narcissism.

Trump's atheism actually makes me a lot more inclined to vote for him.

This isn't that hot. I liked Endgame a lot more than I expected to, but it wasn't exactly Kubrick.

Kubrick is very hit-and-miss though, with only his visuals being consistently top-notch.
