In 2019, Reps pick up the LA governorship, while holding KY, narrowly and MS. Also Dems flip the VA Senate, while the GOP holds the VA House. In 2020, Donald Trump narrowly defeats Joe Biden with Biden flipping MI and PA, in the Senate, there is no change, as Cory Gardner loses his seat in Colorado to Andrew Romanoff and Doug Jones loses his in Alabama to Bradley Bryne, so the Senate is 51-47, with a runoff in Georgia and Louisiana. In the House, Republicans lose GA-07, but pick up CA-48, IA-01, IA-03, IL-14, ME-02, MI-08, MI-11, MN-07, NC-09 (Dems win it in the Special), NJ-02, NJ-03, NM-02, NY-11, NY-22, SC-01, UT-04, and VA-07, so Dems hold a 220-215 majority. Republicans hold the Georgia and Louisiana seats, making the Senate 53-47. In late 2021, a recession strikes. In 2021, Phil Murphy is reelected and Mark Herring is elected as Governor of VA, the Democratic Party finally wins the VA House, gaining a trifecta. In 2022, Dems pick up CA-48, IA-01, IA-03, IA-04, IL-14, MI-11, MO-02, MT-AL, NE-02, NJ-02, NJ-03, NY-01, NY-02, NY-24, OH-01, PA-01, PA-10, TX-10, TX-21, TX-22, TX-24, TX-31, VA-07, but they lose MD-06, due to redistricting, giving them a 242-193 majority. In the Senate, Burr, Johnson, and Isaskon retire, Democrats win those seats, they also defeat Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania with Josh Shapiro, Martha McSally with Greg Stanton, and due to the recession, they take down Marco Rubio in Florida with Stephanie Murphy. The Dems pick up 6 seats and win the Senate 53-47 in favor of Democrats. The economy starts recovering around mid-2022, but Republicans are still blamed for the recession. In gubernatorial races, Mark Kelly, after his failed Senate bid takes down Gov. Doug Ducey in Arizona. In Texas, seeing the writing on the wall, Greg Abbott retires, Congressman Collin Allred defeats controversial Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick. In Georgia, former Democratic wonder-star Stacey Abrams recaptures her magic and takes down Governor Brian Kemp. In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis is defeated by FL Commisioner of Agriculture, Nikki Fried. In Maryland, Representative David Trone, who was forced to run in a GOP friendly district, instead defeats Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford, by double digits. In Iowa, while Gov. Kim Reynolds won the Senate seat vacated by retiring Sen. Chuck Grassley, her Lieutenant Governor, Adam Gregg lost to Auditor Rob Sand. In Kansas, Democrat Laura Kelly, the sole Democratic casualty, is ousted by former Representative Kevin Yoder. Democrats pick up a net of 5 governorships. In 2023, Dems pick up the KY governorship as Lieutenant Governor Jenean Hampton, tried to succeed extremely unpopular governor Matt Bevin and lost by two points to Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes. However, recovery soon begins, and throughout the 2024 campaign, the economy is recovering. The Reps nominate VP Mike Pence. On Election Day, Trump's approval is 47%, pick the Democratic candidate and who wins, use 2024 Electoral Votes

My guess:

VP Mike Pence(R-IN)/Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH): 221 EV, 47.5%

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA)/Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA): 317 EV, 50.3%

2016 +PA, MI, WI, NC, GA, AZ

For reference here was the 2020 ticket:
Former VP Joe Biden (D-DE)/GA 2018 Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams (D-GA)

Senate:

R-Gain: WV (Manchin-retired), MT (Tester), OH (Brown)

D-Gain: None

Senate Balance: 50-50, VP Bob Casey breaks ties

Please specify a candidate next time, because it doesn't fit standards for an alternative elections matchup.
