Speaking of religion, I'd bet that if you account for Protestant religious leaders (and the shorter time window in the figure I just cited), the numbers possibly even each other out.  And the percentage of priests accused of child molestation is roughly on par with the national average according to some studies.

Case in point, (though it is not entirely relevant to this thread): the better-known connection between religious institutions and child sex abuse allegations is probably not unique and this type of problem is inherent to institutions where predators have access to children, and a network that covers for them.
