LAST VOTE COUNTED (SHEET): AZ
LAST VOTE COUNTED (MAPS):AZ
INVALIDS: Ben Kenobi (South; officially reg'd in Fremont), Ishan (reg'd too late), Cashew (Fremont; deleted ballot), 123NY (House; posted blank ballot, deleted; corroborated by Peanut), Muaddib (Fremont; not reg'd in the region), ToledoTuskin14 (not reg'd in the region)

The April elections for House of Representatives, Fremont Class II Senate, Lincoln Class II Senate, Southern Class II Senate, Lincoln Council, Fremont Parliament, Southern Chamber of Delegates, Southern Governor, and Fremont FM will take place from Friday, April 19, 2019, through Sunday, April 21, 2019. Yes, folks, that's nine elections (kill me now).

In Fremont, Devout Centrist is running unopposed for a second term to the Senate, while Scott is running for a second term as governor (with JacksonHitchcock of the sacrificial lamb party providing some opposition). The parliamentary election is between 8 candidates (ASV, shua, fhtagn, YE, jimmy, nerdfighter/Sherrod Brown Shill, Big Abraham, and Truman) for 7 seats. In the South, North Carolina Yankee is running for a second full term for the Senate, with Wulfric as the token opposition, while Young Texan is running unopposed for Governor. The Chamber election is between 9 candidates (reagente, HillGoose, UlmerFudd, matthew, muaddib, pragmaticpopulist, TimTurner, Wulfric and Leinad) for 7 seats. In Lincoln, independent ReaganClinton is running against Laborite Comrade Funk for MAINEiac's senate seat. The Council election, meanwhile, has 10 candidates (lfromnj, thr33/BG-NY, Suburban NJ Conservative/S019, Wazza, ninja, tack, pyrothefox, zaybay, dipper josh, and adam griffin) vying for 9 seats, the maximum allowable under the new constitution.

There are a few things that usually get brought up in these threads, so I'll address them here:

1) Yes, I am aware that Puerto Rico and the UK have registered citizens. However, I still haven't edited my map template to include these territories/countries, so adding them to the map takes a lot of time at the moment. So if you see a floating circle somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico, that's Puerto Rico. If you see floating circles along the Southeastern, Northeastern, or Pacific coasts, those are for the areas of the UK belonging to each of those regions.

2) Ties in a state are shaded the color of the party with the most votes in the particular region in which the state resides. For the House elections, to ensure a balanced map, Peace is being counted separately from Labor for tiebreaking purposes in the state-level map, while fhtagn is being counted with the Federalists. So, if a state has one vote for fhtagn and one vote for a Labor candidate, the tie will be broken in favor of fhtagn, provided the Federalists are winning the region overall, even if the ACP has fewer votes than Labor in the region. Meanwhile, if a state in a Labor-leading region has one vote for Razze and one vote for a Federalist candidate, the tie will be broken in favor of the Federalist unless Peace is leading the Federalists in the region.

3) I am not doing maps for the regional legislative elections because it takes too long to update results for each and every candidate (especially this time, since there are so many candidates), and they aren't very interesting in any case. I considered doing mock-avatar graphics like I did in January but decided against it, also for time-related reasons.

As always, there will be a spreadsheet, updated more frequently than the maps, to track all elections. Check it if the maps are out of date.

The spreadsheet and maps have now been fully updated now that the election is over! I have decided to count Labor and Peace votes together for tiebreaker purposes (contrary to what I said earlier) so Labor picks up a few states like NJ, FL and MO.
