FREEDOM STATE!  I can just imagine what the disapproval is in the Boston area and its suburbs.  He is EXTREMELY unpopular here.  There's even a lot of old white men that think he's a butthole.

It's not useless.  The primary purpose of the poll was to poll the Democratic primary. (Try saying that three times fast!)  Since they were already polling the state, they might as well poll the GE question too.

But seriously, no need to poll this, even spending money on a hypothetical Baker v Markey 2020 or Maura Healey v Polito for Gov in 2022, would be a much more useful poll

Because the main purpose of this is a Democratic primary poll, which is quite useful in a state like MA.  This question is just along for the ride.
