Resignation Annoucement

Well its been a wild ride folks.  Eight Presidents, nine Vice-Presidents, two and a half Civil Wars, and quite a few Senators.  And I outlasted them all.  But not anymore I'm afraid. 

I'd like to thank President Nym90 for appointing me in the first place, and I'd like to thank everyone I have worked with on the Court for some fun debates.  But I just don't have the interest or the time to put into this game as I used to, and instead of holding the position until I die, I think it's better to step aside and let some new blood take over the reigns.

I hope that I have made at least a small impact on the history and caselaw of this simulation by providing the groundwork for a precident of limited government and decentralized power.  And above all, basic human rights.  Ah well, better let my legacy speak for itself.

Thank you all, and I hereby resign as a Justice of the Supreme Court immediately.

That was unexpected, though with retrospect your activity has declined recently.

You served the Court and your position honourably and with distinction. Your legacy on the Court will certainly not be forgotten any time soon, that much is certain.

Well, thats the last of the old Atlasia gone. The revolution is complete, for better or (as I think) worse. I hope you hang around, at least on the forum generally. I might've disgareed on a couple of your rulings (espectially Ernest) but you've been a good SCJ, serving as a moderate, intelligent and unifying presence in a body that has not always been so.
