There is certainly a possibility that a woman could get the nomination. If that happens it doesn't seem that important whether it's woman/man or woman/woman.
A man/man ticket is possible, but probably less so than the other three.

edit: most likely woman would be Harris. IDK if Warren will do well at this point. Other than those two I don't see anyone else as likely (e.g. Klobuchar or Gillibrand).

Harris is still the likeliest nominee, IMO, but the likeliest combination is still man/woman

It wouldn't surprise me if she is in the top tier of 3-5 candidates (edit: in 2020). There may be a lot of people who still want a woman POTUS, so it's way too early to eliminate Harris.

I believe Bernie Sanders to have the best shot at winning the nomination, and therefore believe a man/woman ticket is most likely (Sanders/Turner). If Kamala Harris is the nominee, the ticket will be female/male (I am predicting Harris/O'Rourke). If Pete Buttigieg is the nominee, the ticket will be male/male (Buttigieg/Inslee). If Kirsten Gillibrand is the nominee, the ticket wil be female/female (Gillibrand/Gabbard).

I think man/woman, because I feel almost 90% certain at this point that either Andrew Yang or Bernie Sanders will win (or possibly even Pete Buttigieg if he can keep up his momentum), and I'm sure they'll feel an extreme pressure (and definitely rightly so!) to run with one of their five female also-rans. Who is the most likely of Warren, Klobuchar, Gillibrand, Williamson and Gabbard to be chosen as running mate? I don't know, but probably the one who does better in the primaries.

I agree with you. Noone should be eliminated at this point. The only ones I've already eliminated from winning are John Delaney, Joe Biden, Tim Ryan and Wayne Messam. All others, even extreme long shots like Tulsi Gabbard and Marianne Williamson, are fair game at this point. Smiley

1. M/W
2. W/M

3. W/W
4. M/M

Options 1/2 are infinitely more likely than options 3/4, but I actually think an all-female ticket is more likely than an all-male ticket. I just don’t see any male candidate possibly picking a male running mate given the current surge of support for women in the Democratic Party.

Man/woman is looking to be the most likely. Though I feel fairly confident that the woman will be Kamala Harris.
