That's the point of YE's post...I think it's pretty clear you don't realize how difficult it is for a victim of sexual assault/harassment to report immediately. Victims are often ignored or not believed in the first place. Many even fear that if they do report, their lives would be impacted negatively (i.e. losing a job, fear of safety, etc.).

I haven't followed the details of this Biden story- but just saw a caption on CNN that read- Biden accused of kissing a woman on the back of her head.

Am I missing some important detail here- b/c from first glance, that doesn't seem to be very bad (especially depending on the context).

So Biden kissed the back of her head at a rally to help get out the vote for Flores.  Joe Biden may be a bit too touchy feely in general- and should be extra vigilant to refrain from such going forward, but kissing the back of her head is hardly a sensual gesture or grope. I think at least it should be kept in context to the many forms of sexual harassment women experience.  At some point, the lessening degree of actions to that are thrown in to the me too movement, is going to hit a point, that begins to totally and completely undermine the whole movement itself.  This type action may not be that point, but its getting awfully close.  

On the other hand- I think Biden does deserve some heat for the Anita Hill Hearings, especially considering he was running the hearing... and has never really apologize (at least not to the same degree) until now when he knows he pretty much has to.
