Lol

The Democratic official summed it up as if the GOP wants to focus on VA, instead of MI, PA, WI, he encourages them to do that

Also lol at going to McLean, NOVA is gone, and in the 5% chance that the GOP wins VA, it would come from decent  numbers in Henrico/Richmond suburbs and a strong base in VA Beach, of the NOVA Counties, Loudoun is probably bordering on Safe D, PWC and Fairfax are gone.

Which begs the question, why VA instead of NH, MN, or even NV

I mean, he could win it, in a blowout win, but it's so unlikely he would be best to not waste time there.

A good target for Trump, especially after the Northam scandal. This forces the democrats to spend more money and resources on a bigger front.

Democrats are not dumb enough to spend money on a safe state/scandals like these don't hurt parties on the national level.

Not saying Trump will win per se, but this attitude is why Clinton lost Michigan and Wisconsin.

They think the election is won already so they are trying to expand the map. It's cute. Reminds me of Clinton in 16.

Jeeves, remind me of Trump's approval rating there again?

Nobody is going to care about whatever Northam did when they vote for President in 2020.

Virginia is not going to go Republican anytime in the near future, in this political alignment.

Also, Democrats are not going to be spending money to defend Virginia unless they're heading for a blowout loss nationwide.

Sure, Donny, go for it! No need to bother defending Wisconsin or Michigan, you've got those states in the bag.

I called it! I said in a previous thread that the Mueller report summary would make him cocky, and it has! There's this, him talking about ending the ACA again, mocking asylum seekers, etc. I hope he remains cocky and wastes his time in Virginia and Colorado in 2020. The less time he spends in the actual most important swing states, the better.

Sure he would be more likely to win Virginia against Sanders than against Biden.

He has a zero percent chance against either.

States that he's more likely to win:

Colorado
Maine
Minnesota
Nevada
New Hampshire

But no, I'm not surprised. After all, he said he would win NY in 2015/2016.

The Democratic scandals there slightly increased his chances there.

But the state is demographically stacked against him, so no - he won‘t win.

Trump didn't win VA, in fact he nearly lost by double digits and had the worst performance for a Republican there since 1944.

Yeah Trump not even coming close to Biden in VA was obvious to anyone who has paid attention for the last 3 years.
