One group has LOTS of circumstancial evidence, logic, reasoning and based on all of those things, came to a conclusion about the likeliness of collusion.

The other group are mindless pre-Trump MAGA-brained snowflakes who get EXTREMELY offended by facts and logic when it contradicts their precious feelings.

No, recognizing the fact that Trump is a traitor is not equivalent to being a racist knuckledragger who questioned the legitimacy of a president merely because he was black. (while never sufficiently addressing the fact that his mother was a US citizen, making him a natural-born citizen no matter where he was born...)

No, there was at least inclination that it could have been true. Just look at Paul Manafort and Trump's affinity for Putin. Unfortunately it turns out that Trump's affinity for Putin may be based on much more simpler means than him getting involved in the 2016 election. Also I think most Democrats will move on from this unlike the birthers. At least if they're smart, they would. They should get the full Mueller report, then never mention it again.

How can anybody with a straight face say Trump didn't interfere with the investigation?

The right can't even talk in good faith about the fact that there was some sort of at least attempted interference in the election, and that their side used it to help them, because they've spent decades lying to themselves to convince themselves they're honest players in politics. This would hurt their egos too much.

There were actually indictments and plenty of evidence that Russians interfered in the election.

Trump is a birther and Trump colluded, so I guess the answer to this sh*tpost is yes.

Birtherism was based on racism.

"Collusionism" was based on national security and the sanctity of our elections.

No matter what you draw from this, it's clear that only one side had the nation's best interests at heart.

Trump cheated Robert Muller by not giving the official report, which should be more demeaning than just a shrug from the back.

How can anybody with a straight face say Trump didn't interfere with the investigation?

Reading the AG's letter, his "logic" (which is completely broken) is pretty clear:

-Trump & co didn't directly conspire with the Russian government to influence the election

-Therefore, Trump couldn't have obstructed that investigation

-Three, Trump's DoJ is not going to look at anything else (quid pro quo, etc)

I'm sure defense attorneys nationwide are cheering at the revelation that if you do a really good job of obstruction, you can't be charged for it. And Trump is obviously pretty happy to find out that since he wasn't personally telling Russian trolls (who weren't getting their paychecks signed by Putin) how to win the Rust Belt for him, and since he wasn't personally disclosing security vulnerabilities to GRU hackers (instead only asking them to do their job on live TV), he wasn't technically conspiring with the Russian government.

"Collusionism" was based on national security and the sanctity of our elections.

No matter what you draw from this, it's clear that only one side had the nation's best interests at heart.

Belief that Barack Obama was born outside the United States requires contorted assumptions that someone falsified a birth certificate in Hawaii -- which suggests that no public record is trustworthy. Besides, the 'birthers' ignored a basic fact that so long as he was born to a US female citizen he is a US citizen by birth, no matter whether he was born in Hawaii or Botswana. (Hawaii is mostly antipodal to Botswana -- check the article on "Antipodes" on Wikipedia for fun).

People who collaborate with a country hostile to the democratic ideals of the majority of the People are traitors, whether for their own gain, vanity, or revenge.

Birthers really are out of touch with reality.

Those who believe that collusion happened will take their time to be convinced otherwise.

Golden showers? I have no desire to see any tapes of such.

As far as partisan hack groups blindly placing their faith in a poorly imagined conspiracy theory that easily crumbles when scrutinized to try and justifytheir irrational hatred, yes. Those swearing absolute certainty that Trump colluded with Russia over hooker piss tapes have a comparable amount of egg on their face as those convinced the Obamas had the foresight to fake a birth notice in the Honolulu Star all the way back in 1961 or the troofers before them convinced W Bush purposefully cause 9-11, used magic voting machines in 2004 and ordered HAARP to hit New Orleans with a hurricane, or even before them, the deathers who claimed Clinton was killng random associates of his for some reason.

No, because there weren't any actual facts suggesting Obama was from Kenya.

From Politicalwire (members version)

If you’re confused in the aftermath of Attorney General William Barr’s letter describing the findings of the Mueller report, you’re not alone. After all, we saw Donald Trump ask Russia to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails. We saw Trump try to obstruct the Mueller investigation on a daily basis.

Now we’re told that the Mueller investigation “did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” And Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein also concluded that the evidence wasn’t sufficient to establish that Trump committed obstruction of justice.

In short, we’re being ask to believe a reality that doesn’t fit the events we’ve seen with our own eyes.

In the light of undeniable Russian interference taking place there were at least some reasons to suspect collusion. Birtherism, on the other hand, was a completely made-up bulls**t from day one.
