Will the Bloc collapse because they tied themselves to the CAQ and will the NDP get a minority/majority next Alberta elections?

A moribund party that ran 10 candidates last election is in third place? OK...

We're polling BC right now too, and have similar numbers, except we didn't include the Conservatives. But "other" is quite high.
When/If you poll Alberta, will you poll the Alberta Liberals? They are above 5% in the May Polls and 14% during a June 1st poll.

Who is the typical BC Conservative voter in the Next election?

The Green MP of Fredericton, Jenica Atwin crossed the floor to join the Liberals.

Totally not an opportunistic move.

Canada should not have reopened the border with the US. As an American, I think they should keep us out forever.

Is there any Electoral Calculus style website where I can put some polling numbers in and see what happens? I know there's the 338 simulator, but anything more detailed would be fun.

Green Party: With all the infighting, they are pretty much toast.  They will be lucky if they can hold onto a single seat.  Their best option would be immediate leadership change but might be too late.  BQ back in 2017 was in similar crisis and things looked bleak but recovered through leadership change, but Greens lack time for that.

He doesn't have a hope of winning in West Vancouver, but Avi Lewis is something of a mini-celebrity.  He's the grandson of former Federal NDP leader David Lewis and the son of former Ontario Provincial NDP leader Stephen Lewis.  He's also married to Naomi Klein and they did at least one documentary film together (The Take, good film.)

Avi Lewis was also a personality on MuchMusic back when they still showed music videos (he wasn't a V.J though.)

That said, he's running in a riding the NDP has never come close to winning federally before, and I'm not actually sure he's all that well known outside of Ontario.

I think he might come in second depending on how big the Green implosion is and what is the state of the Greens during the campaign, and I doubt the Greens will be in a good state considering their financial troubles and the legal problems caused that resulted in the implosion.

- Nathalie Rochefort, former PLQ MNA running in Becancour-Nicolet

Very surprised. She was active in the Quebec NDP in the early 00's and kept saying Svend Robinson was her model.
She was the Liberal candidate for the seat in 2019.

Green new leader is Amita Kuttner. They were the candidate in Burbaby North - Seymour in 2019 and got 7% in the last leadership race. They are obviously, the first non-binary party leader.
They are the first transgender party leader.

On another note, is it still possible to get a Ontario icon instead of Prussia.
Yes, and if you go to https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?action=profile;u=31915;sa=forumProfile and select Republican and scroll down to Ontario, you can get an R-Ontario avatar.

Singh should go because he is using the NDP as a way to be an influencer and this is a good article on how Singh is a influencer even if some of the other articles on the website are awful.

I presume she didn't like the current crop of candidates. I wonder if she improved on her french or if she still speaks "french".

Trudeau had better sever diplomatic ties with the US immediately. Would you want to live in a country bordering Nazi Germany in the 1930s? This is why if I leave the US, I'd prefer the UK over Canada.

So, Doug Ford isn't ruling out the possibility of amalgamating the Peel region together.

I wonder if there is any chance Trudeau uses this to overall smartly restrict Indian immigration to more manageable levels while having political cover. Seems like the smartest play and the right for Canada, and US citizens.

I disagree. Restricting Indian immigration would show the world that Canada is afraid of Modi. Canada needs to increase immigration from India, if anything. It sends a better message: “unlike India, Canada is a free nation”
lmao. Are you aware of the current immigration situatuon in Canada and its effect on the housing crisis and cost of living? The strip mall diploma mills?

The idea that immigrants are to blame for housing shortages is nonsensical. Housing shortages are evidence of insufficient supply, not too much demand. Building more housing would solve the problem. Secondly, the implication that a citizen is more deserving of housing than a citizen is xenophobic.

Any time someone is blaming “immigrants” for a societal ill, it’s a distraction from the actual causes.
What are the "actual causes"?
