Former Missouri State Treasurer Sarah Steelman wins the Missouri GOP Senate primary after longtime Sen. Roy Blunt announces his retirement.

Meanwhile, former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander wins the Missouri Democratic Senate primary after a spirited battle from Maria Chappelle-Nadal.

I don't think a Trump midterm year is enough to swing Missouri Democratic in today's day and age. It would be like Connecticut swinging Republican in a Republican + midterm year.
