I've thought this for years, but it makes me a little queasy to agree with Trump. I will have to read some arguments both ways to make sure I stand by my opinion.

It means that the current time would remain even in the winter.  Or in essence, we would be abolishing DST but also shifting everyone a time zone east to get more evening sunlight.

I'd be OK with either year-round standard time or year-round DST.  I don't like the transition in the Spring; it always takes me at least a week or two to adjust.

As a night owl, my preference would be to extend it all year. But I would vastly prefer standard time to what we're doing now.
