These numbers are completely useless for the actual primary, since they dont give a percentage of who would actually, you know, bother to support any of the listed candidates in the D primary. The De Blasio and Gillibrand numbers, however, are just awful, even in this rather easy-to-get-high-numbers-in metric.

It's not a surprise Bernie would do better with minorities when he'll have 90%+ name recognition with them throughout the entire primary rather than having 50% name recognition with minorities in February 2016.

A national poll of all voters doesn't mean much because Sanders' approval ratings are in the toilet with Republicans, who are nearly entirely white. Those figures look like the white/non-white split in approval for any generic Democrat.

Uh.... the majority of white people vote Republican and minorities vote overwhelmingly Democratic. A politician associated with the Democratic Party SHOULD have higher favorables with nonwhites.
