Two-term Gov. Adam Laxalt wins the 2028 Republican presidential nomination against Tom Cotton and others.

Laxalt breaks the golden rule of ticket balancing and reinforces governance and youth with New Jersey Gov. Shaun Golden.

Laxalt/Golden: 270 EV 46.7%
Harris/O'Rourke: 268 EV 50.3%

Laxalt being NV's governor helps him win that state and a razor thin margin in NH gives him the Presidency. Harris does very well in NM, CO, and VA which is why the PV disparity is so large
