LAST VOTE COUNTED (sheet):AZ
LAST VOTE COUNTED (maps): AZ

Three special elections are taking place this weekend, starting Friday, February 22, 2019 and lasting through Sunday, February 24, 2019.

In the South, Federalist candidate Young Texan and Peace candidate Spiral are vying for control of the Southern governor's office, left vacant as a result of tmthforu's victory in the presidential election last week. In Fremont, Federalist AustralianSwingVoter is a candidate for the Fremont Parliament seat left by RFA09's recall in last weekend's elections. Finally, in Lincoln, the tied Lincoln Class I Senate race is proceeding to a runoff vote between Federalist LouisvilleThunder and Laborite tack50.

In addition, a number of amendments will be on the Lincoln ballot this weekend, including the Philadelphia Plan, a constitutional amendment to reform Lincoln's political system. You can read more about these in wxtransit's thread. Federally, the Vice Presidential Confirmation Amendment and the Activity Standards Amendment will also be voted on this weekend.

Results for the elections will be tracked on a spreadsheet and a map, while results for the amendments will be tracked on the spreadsheet.

A note on coloration: write-in candidates that have declared prior to the election are colored in according to party, while write-ins that are launched in the voting booth are colored with that grey color.

Map and spreadsheet are now up to date. Sorry for taking so long, I didn't have time to update in the morning and had class until 30 minutes ago.

Some fun facts:

-This Lincoln runoff now holds the record for the most votes in a Lincoln regional election, at 58.

-Total turnout for all three of this weekend's elections was 152. By comparison, turnout in last week's federal election was 155, and turnout for the December midterms was 139.

Truly a ringing endorsement of our new constitutional amendments!
