The people who push this never want to "coexist" with Christians.  They seem to want us to shut up and hide.  So while the signature has a noble ideal, the intent of most people that push this sort of thing is less than ideal.  Perhaps this poster will convince me otherwise, but I'm going to need convincing.

I don't think Tom Petty would appreciate your use of his song for your purposes. To be fair though, he wouldn't express it like he would against a politician using it.

If I recall, Michele Bachmann used "American Girl" as a song at one of her rallies back in the 2011 GOP primaries and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers gave her a cease and desist order.

You could be right. I don't know if it was necessarily out of political concern, or if Tom Petty is just strict with how his music is used. I also recall that he sued Sam Smith for sampling "I Won't Back Down."
