What would his future have entailed? Does he run again for re-election as Governor in ‘92 and win? Lose? Does he stay as governor and continue to run for re-election to run again in ‘96? 2000? Run for Senate in ‘98 when incumbent Democrat Dale Bumpers retired? In ‘96 when incumbent Democrat David Pryor retired? Would he have won either seats if he ran for the Senate? Would he have won the Democratic primary for President in ‘96 or 2000 if he ran again?
