Is this just my impression, or has Biden really aged and slowed down? I watched the first 10 minutes of his Iowa speech and found them incredibly boring and even confusing at some points. Don't get me wrong, I have great respect for our former VP and would whole heartily support him as nominee, but let's be real: The dude is not creating a lot of enthusiasm. If he ends up as nominee and this continues, I would be very worried regardless of the polls.

I personally thing he's too old to campaign for the next 18 months and then occupy the presidency, a very stressful job. Sanders is too old as well.

Biden wasnt my first choice, Harris was. She hasn't attacked Biden, she has praised Trump. If Trump can be President,  at his age, so can Biden.

When did Harris praise Trump? I think sshe likes Biden personally and refrains from attacks not burn down bridges. She may eye the VP slot if he's leading the ticket. Would be a good move and, assuming they win, position her well for '24. Biden is not serving more than one term.

How is "We're going to cure cancer" any more absurd than "We're going to abolish ICE" or "We're going to insure everyone" or "We're going to stop climate change?" They're all on roughly the same level of impossible.

Totally agree. I am growing increasingly concerned after the great initial kickoff and then sub-par Philadelphia kickoff. And I am not happy with his flip flop on Hyde, so I may as well go back to Pete if there is minimal policy difference. The downside to Pete is still the electoral games he wants to play. Biden at least remains conciliatory.

In all fairness, if he does defeat Trump, America would be rid of a particularly malignant tumour.

He was talking slow, slurring words, forgetting his place all throughout his speech in Atlanta. But he took cute pictures with Obama so none of these concerns matter and we are petty haters.

Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

I don't want Biden to be the Democratic candidate, but seriously? This is a ridiculous post and I shouldn't even respond to it. But I did because it's just so ridiculous that I had to roll my eyes. Sigh.

That's why most western countries manage to give health insurance to all their citizens. So much for the American dream, huh?

Terminal illnesses are down like HIV and Cancer and Alteimers, look at politicians age 70+. Stem cell research never fully developed that would have cured all 3 terminal illnesses

What a sick man. Looking to give cancer victims false hope, only so he can get their votes.

To be fair to Biden, I would hope that cancer becomes curable as well although he preferably wants this to happen under his administration.

The survey, commissioned by the Black Economic Alliance, found that 76 percent of black voters are either enthusiastic or comfortable with Biden's candidacy. In contrast, 64 percent felt the same way about Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont; 53 percent about Sen. Kamala Harris of California; 43 percent about Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey; 42 percent about Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts; 32 percent about former Rep. Beto O'Rourke of Texas; and just 23 percent about Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana.

Until this changes it is Biden's race to lose.

He’s leading with black voters but that is a poll of 100 people conducted online. Trash.

It is one poll, but it falls in line with what we have seen.

As much as online lefties bitch about Biden. The people who actually matter (AA voters in southern primaries) prefer him to the other candidates. Unless that changes, he is going to cruise to the nomination.
