I know and admire him, which makes this even more inexplicable and annoying. Seriously, go with Kamala or maybe Castro. Although he and Beto are friends.

Minor endorsement: Dean Trantalis, Mayor of Fort Lauderdale endorses Buttigieg.

Minor gripe: Can we correct the spelling of 'endorsement' in the title? Please?

Bill de Blasio does have the endorsement of the Mayor of Orangeburg, South Carolina, which he seems to be incorporating into a vain push to shore up enough black support to become relevant: https://nypost.com/2019/06/01/de-blasios-first-endorsement-comes-from-small-town-south-carolina-mayor/
Still can't understand why the mayor's strategy is about courting black voters. Doesn't he understand that there are 3 actually popular and more qualified black candidates in the race who are failing at taking black voters away from Biden? Don't know why he thinks that an unpopular white dude could do it

He thinks his record will endear them to him for some reason. He's also literally including the fact that he's married to a black woman as a focal point. In all fairness, these emphases did help him in his mayoral campaign, but for a presidential campaign, this is a clear disaster and we should merely enjoy it.

I can't wait for him to declare that he is the only candidate in the debates with a black spouse or significant other.

Well done

Yep, the guy was mayor of Charleston for 40 years, putting him around 20th in the list of the longest serving mayors in US history. A big endorsement, though he hasn't been in office (or relevant at all from what I can tell) in a few years.

Kamala Harris passes Joe Biden in CBC endorsements with the support of two more members: Bobby Rush (IL) and Frederica Wilson (FL).

Also on the state level, Kamala received her first Pennsylvania endorsement from Northampton county executive Lamont McClure. This could be useful in the general since the county was Trump +3.

Lamont would be the 3rd, as Cuomo endorsed him way back in January, before he even announced.

With the House Majority on the line, Biden gave Fred Upton (R-MI) a final push as well.

Yeah, I guess he just shouldn't have complimented somebody who happened to be present at the same event for having worked to increase federal funding for cancer research. After all, it's not like cancer research is important to Biden or anything. Hell, cancer research should be as important to Biden as context is to you: not at all, evidently.

Was he trying to endorse Biden in the most diplomatic way possible?
