Gretchen Whitmer and Gillibrand are appearing together in MI on Monday. It’s way to soon for her to endorse imo, but if Gillibrand can last until MI, she might be a strong contender for her endorsement after endorsing her in the gubernatorial primary.
Now THIS would help a ton

Looks like three of the best members of Congress are behind Beto! Only makes it more clear that I'll support him if Bennet drops out or doesn't enter race.

Kathleen Rice is literally one of the worst congressional endorsements someone could get at the moment.

It’s almost as if Beto is a rank-and-file New Dem or something

He hasn't been endorsed by Richard Spencer, so honestly, I don't care. Unless they are by someone incredibly controversial, endorsements are such a worthless measure of a politician nowadays anyway.

God this primary will be worse than 2016. People are unironically calling O’Rourke a moderate. And I say that as someone who is torn between Beto and Sanders

Um, sorry to break it to you, but most news centers are calling him a moderate:
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/14/beto-orourke-is-running-for-president-echoes-obama-seeking-middle-ground.html
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/orourke-and-biden-nearing-a-potential-collision-course/2019/03/12/299d1288-44c4-11e9-90f0-0ccfeec87a61_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.9d60a893035c

His endorsements have been from Blue Dogs and New Dems. And generally, his campaign has based itself off of unity and compromise.

That sounds like a moderate to me.

I honestly believe Beto is a compromise candidate for those folks. There are folks more moderate than Beto in this primary and Biden certainly will be, but they are either boring, have no chance, or in Biden's case old as hell.

I mean... seriously between Harris, Sanders, O'Rourke, and Warren who would these folks rather be tied to?

Basically the same objectionable boat that made me distrust Obama [and was ultimately proven correct] compared to even Hillary Clinton or John Edwards.

Really, the difference is little at this point, which is itself worrisome...unless history decides not to repeat at the question of running mate. Sadly, Jimmy Carter was the last to actually pick someone to the left.

Yeah but Beto has called for the abolition of ICE and for the existing border walls to be taken down. That doesn't sound like  a position Kathleen Rice would be willing to endorse. I predicted her and Murphy would both endorse Harris

Come on over to team Gillibrand. She has no endorsements, so you can just implant your own desires on to what kind of candidate she is.

He’s backed away from those positions almost as soon as he took them. Notably, they weren’t included in his “10 ideas for immigration reform” email that he sent out a few weeks ago.
