Torrance Hasselback Coughman (THC) was an author and host of the Our America podcast from Indiana formed a 3rd party bid for president running on a platform of Universal Healthcare, Right to an Adequate Living Wage, Green New Deal, Right to Adequate Food and Housing, Ending the Wars, Eisenhower Era Tax Rates for the Wealthy, Negative Income Tax for those making under $49k, Tax cuts for those making under $400k, Protecting Gun Rights, Illegalizing lobbying, Right to an Advanced Education and Ending the Drug War. His opponents were Democratic Nominee New York Governor Chelsea Clinton and Republican Nominee Vice President Majorie Taylor Greene. After the Great Economic Crash of 2034 and Climate Change hitting harder than expected voters were sick of the Republican party after 4 years of Trump followed up by 8 years of Ron DeSantis the American people wanted radical change. Vice President Greene ran without any serious challenger while Governor Clinton ran faced a challenge from Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego but dropped out after Super Tuesday when he only carried Vermont and Colorado. Coughman seeing the inevitable that Clinton would be the nominee for the Democratic party announced an exploratory bid for the presidency on October 3rd, 2035 on the Our America podcast urging his fans to organize a movement to get him on the ballot in all 50 states. Following the announcement, he got the endorsement of former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura and other notable leftwing commentators while some were hesitant to endorse him due to his position on guns. On April 9th, 2036 on his 35th birthday he announced on his podcast that he has reached ballot access in all 50 states and officially announces his campaign for president with his co-host Johannes Baldemar as his running mate. He was able to crack the 15% necessary to get into the first debate and he seized the opportunity to have a strong debate performance being able to communicate ideas like Medicare for All and a Green New Deal in a more moderate-sounding way to the public which saw support for them spike along with his numbers in the polls surging up to 32% after the first debate. The Clinton campaign tanked after the first debate with large parts of her voting bloc switching over to Coughman which set off a panic within the democratic establishment fearing it could hand the election over to Greene even with her historically low favorability ratings. On election night America witnessed the biggest political upset in modern political history when Torrance Hasselback Coughman pulled off the upset winning the election with a narrow majority in the electoral college and 38% of the popular vote.

Torrance Hasselback Coughman(OA-IN)/Johannes Baldemar (OA-CO): 38%
Vice President Greene (R-GA)/Sen.Matt Gaetz (R-FL): 35%
Governor Chelsea Clinton (D-NY)/ Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH): 28%
