Not sure I like Bernie personally but I do like how he sticks to what he believes in. I probably agree with like 98% of what he says, and I have no doubt that’s what he would actually try to do if elected. He actually seems to care about the people which even people who disagree with him can’t argue with.

It will be interesting to see how much of his support was anti-Clinton though.

I could see myself voting for him if he’s still in when NY comes around.

> Harris raises $1.5M during the weekend following her announcement
"Harris has the winning formula for this election. She is clearly the future of the party."

> Sanders raises $1M in 3.5 hours following his announcement
"This is a cult and his supporters are fools."

There is a difference between donating to a first time presidential candidate and a retread that really didn't do all that great last time when you actually look at the numbers. He pays family for working for his campaign and bought a lake house after the last election. He rails against materialism, yet lives seemingly comfortable.

He went from polling around 1-2% to taking 45% of the vote and almost half the states from the near presumptive nominee, — that’s ‘not doing so well’? Lmao.

Bernie’s got my vote so far, with Tulsi and Warren close behind. I want one of them as VP though.

Beautiful numbers in such a short period.

"Harris has the winning formula for this election. She is clearly the future of the party."

> Sanders raises $1M in 3.5 hours following his announcement
"This is a cult and his supporters are fools."

Quite accurate.

Messages like this are exactly why he's going to lose (again). Keep it up.

More like 43%. He didn't get anywhere close to winning the nomination, but some people act like the race was was tied or something. Plus much of his vote came from

Never donated to a political candidate in my entire life (albeit I have only entered legal adulthood comparatively recently) but I'm seriously considering donating $27 as a gesture of good faith to our next President.

I already did (and $10 to Tulsi earlier this week, which I’m still fine with) I’m a firm believer in putting your money where your mouth is.

The rape thing is taken out of context and you and the other neolibs who use it know that.

On the other hand, the poor/white quote is the #1 reason I don't want Sanders to be the nominee, Trump will absolutely use that in campaign ads and if it's possible for any one thing to cost someone an election that will be it.

My primary is probably too late for me to have a say in the nomination, but I probably don't see myself voting for Bernie unless the other options at that point are surprisingly lacking (which I don't expect by April). I voted for him in 2016 as the better choice of two (for a variety of reasons), but that kind of choice doesn't apply this time when there are so many other candidates to choose from. Bernie vs Hillary is one thing, and though I'm still undecided on a specific candidate, there are at least some candidates running that I'd take over Bernie.

That said, obviously he's free to run and some criticisms of him running again are excessive. Some are fair, like his age and the desire for a younger field, but those can also apply to other candidates like Biden, Warren, Bloomberg, etc, and they're all running/maybe running anyway, so why not him? Bernie has good reasons to run: He was the runner up in 2016, the party has moved closer to his views since then, he is frequently polling towards the top of the list of candidates, and he likely has a high floor which provides a great advantage in a field this large (where a candidate could do very well with just plurality wins due to delegate thresholds). Bernie knows that he has a good shot at winning the nomination, and it's hard to dissuade someone from running in that context.

#1 Reverend Wright was not Obama.

#2 McCain refused to use Wright in campaign ads against Obama.

Just want to clarify that opposing/criticizing Sanders doesn't automatically make someone a neoliberal. Progressivism is bigger than him.

Still doesn't matter. Remember Trump's grab em by the pussy tape? Voters dont give a shít. As long as Trump remains unpopular, and the economy sucks....voters will vote for the other guy no matter how ethically challenged they are. Though of course this isnt an endorsement of their policies nor permission for a mandate

Imagine being a progressive campaign this obsessed with winning conservative white voters. Bernie’s team is already a dumpster fire.
