Another case from Kamala's past coming back to haunt her. This would hurt more in a GE more than anything.

Uhh no it wouldn't. It just proves her consistency on the death penalty.

Let's not be delusional. It would be an effective attack. Especially among low info whites/Lean Dem "Independents" who are not against the death penalty.

Not seeking the death penalty against a cop killer and there's an angry widow who'll probably be more than willing to do an ad, it'll have legs. The fact she apparently didn't even reach out to the family during the whole thing makes it worse. Remember death penalty repeal failed even in California it is definitely one of those issues that is not a winner for Dems.

Kamala can't get a break from the right or the left

Republicans- Kamala compared ICE to the kkk! Therefore, she supports open borders!
Democrats- Kamala doesn't support abolishing ICE! She is evil!

Republicans- Kamala wouldn't seek the death penalty for a cop killer!
HP!

Democrats- Kamala didn't approve DNA testing for Kevin Cooper! HP

She can't win can she lol

Republicans will smear anyone who is perceived as a threat. And a segment of the radical "left" enjoy being useful idiots to the right and help out in cementing their Power.

If she is indeed being truthful about this, maybe it could be a decent tactic. It would demonstrate that there are in fact Americans (who aren't always NRA lackeys) who begrudgingly own guns for the express purpose of protection but would still prefer not to have to in an ideal world and as such simultaneously support gun control measures. On top of that, Harris has been targeted by far right would-be terrorists on more than one occasion, so can you really blame her?

It also needs to be pointed out endlessly, until the point is driven home, that the NRA is first and foremost about protecting the gun industry, not gun owners.

There's only two ways this can go.

It's a breakout strategy...or it's Rubio's 3-2-1 all over again.

Again, why is Kamala wasting her time in Iowa? She's a horrible fit for that state! Even though rural voters have been trending Republican rapidly, there are still a lot of wwc/rural voters in the dem primary! Does she really think farmer Joe is going to vote for someone like her that's for slavery reparations and culturally leftist ideas(not saying reparations is bad, I just think it's a turnoff to poor whites that have been trending R recently). New Hampshire at least has a more well-educated populace so I could see her spending time there, especially in Rockingham county.

Uh.... if she doesn’t finish in the top 3 or 4 in Iowa her campaign is DOA in South Carolina. Voters will pick up cues from the media and break for candidates that are presented as viable.

This is a really moronic hot take of Iowa Democratic caucus-goers. Talk about out-of-touch leftists...

Iowa Democratic caucusgoers are liberal...What makes you think otherwise?

The base of the party. The electorate that every Democrat needs to win over. It's this crucial demographic that makes me believe Kamala Harris will be the next nominee.

Believe what you want, polls say otherwise.

And I doubt it will be a caucus. Most other states that have had caucuses are replacing them with primaries in 2020, so I think Iowa will likely do the same

The primary are a long ways away. Polls right now are (mostly) meaningless.

Per the bro capita they are criticizing Kamala by calling her the misogynist corporate whore slur. Can we plunge these people from voting in the primary? They are anything but progressive, in fact, the attitudes are in tact with the MAGA crowd than the smart people that vote blue.
