How popular do you think all the new Governors will be after the first round of approval polling? Usually, if I remember right, the polls tend to come out all at once after maybe 5-9 months of them on the job.

Personally, I don't know why, but I'm seeing a lot of mid-40s for this group. No real immediate knockout superstars or misses stick out to me, but I could see ones like DeWine, Gordon, and Lee becoming pretty popular in time, while we all expect the likes of Pritzker to grow to be absolutely despised. I also am getting a gut feeling that Sisolak and Kelly won't be especially well-liked after a while, but I couldn't tell you why that is.

Predictions:
Dunleavy: 50s
Newsom: Low 50s
Polis: High 40s
Lamont: Low 40s
DeSantis: Mid-high 40s
Kemp: Mid 40s
Little: High 50s
Pritzker: Low 40s
Kelly: Low 40s
Mills: Low-mid 40s
Whitmer: High 40s maybe low 50s
Walz: Mid-50s
Sisolak: Mid 40s
Grisham: Mid 40s
DeWine: High 40s
Stitt: 40s
Noem: Low 50s
Lee: Mid 50s
Evers: Low 40s
Gordon: 50s

Dunleavy: starts out above water, but AK Governors almost always become unpopular due to forces outside their control (oil) so my guess is he ends up unpopular over time
Newsom: low 50’s
Polis: high 40’s, above water
Lamont: mid-40’s, above water, but becomes unpopular
DeSantis: high 40’s and becomes a very polarizing Governor with half the state population on each side
Kemp: same as DeSantis
Little: high 50’s
Pritzker: low 40’s, break even. Becomes unpopular
Kelly: upper 40’s, above water
Mills: same as Kelly
Whitmer: same as Kelly, trend down over time as a function of MI-Gov being an impossible job
Walz: same as Kelly
Sisolak: mid-40’s
DeWine: upper 40’s
Stitt: mid 40’s and becomes really unpopular but he’ll win anyway
Noem: high 50’s
Lee: low 60’s
Evers: upper 40’s
Gordon: low 60’s

What by chance makes being Governor of Michigan impossible?
