This is a very good amendment that is a result of the Constitutional Convention and months of hard work. It fixes many grammatical errors/loopholes that are in the current version. It clarifies the recall process and also how future ConCons should be conducted. It aligns Senatorial and Regional elections so we aren't having elections on back-to-back weekends.

Future amendments will likely come - this isn't perfect, but it is a very positive step in the right direction.

Concerned about the lack of name change? Here's an explanation: Since the name change initially passed by such a narrow margin, the Chamber felt that including the name change in this version would be controversial and could lead to defeat. I expect there will be a separate amendment in the coming 1-2 months to formally vote on whether to change the name to Jefferson.
