Ultra retarded, should be punished. But journalists who claim "this is not ideological, we should all get behind this!1!1!!" not realizing this is absolutely ideological, regardless of whether you support them, are much worse.

She is a dangerous totalitarian whose rabid anti-progress policies would cause widespread suffering for millions of people.

FF, of course, and poster "Diouf" describing a sixteen-year-old child as a "dangerous totalitarian" is so incredibly Atlas

I assumed it was a reply to the Ayn Rand thread accidentally posted in here. Tongue

Idiotic childish nonsense.  But at least they are children unlike a certain 72-year-old who is acting even more childish than this.

I'm generally not a fan of school strikes, especially not for non-education related reasons, but the cliamte issue is important enogugh that I'm willing to give them a free pass.

Massive FFs (though I'd prefer some actual protests as well)

There have been actual protests, but it's been ignored in december. That was one key motivation of the organisator to hold those school strikes.

A good idea. Chinese industry must be reigned in by military force if necessary; these strikes demonstrate to world governments that something must be done. Since children are the most highly-impacted by China's environmental terror, this movement makes perfect sense.

Proposing to abolish democracy in favour of an authoritarian regime that will act directly against the wishes of its citizens in order to enact policies that will severely hurt them is a terrifying idea.
