It's truly a state of the future, not to mention Texas was really ground zero for my beloved Gen X suburban neocons, 2003-2007 RIP.

Generally FF, as Houston, ATX, and SATX are all massive Freedom Cities (Austin is trending in the wrong direction though).  Rural TX is quite a drag though.

Horrible state. Look at who it elects FFS. Phil Gramm, Rick Perry, Jon Cornyn, Ted Cruz. It almost voted for Clayton Williams, Ann Richards couldn't even get a majority against that scumbag.

It's still a Top 10 state, but I wish I could freeze it in time to make sure the suburbs don't flip and change the state's character.

Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, all reportedly awesome, particularly Austin.

The rest of the state, that is the large majority, pretty much sucks ass

The region with Austin, San Antonio, and the Hill County is easily the best part of the state.  Houston and Dallas are meh at best.

Mild FF state ... when it finally votes Democratic, that rating won't change, either (normal).
