I'm in MO-01, and poor whites vote almost just as heavily Democratic as do blacks. (Of course, it's not easy to tell the difference between a poor white voter and a middle-class white voter from reported election results.) I'd even bet that wealthy whites, in MO-01, vote predominantly Democratic.

In central Jersey, Middlesex County, probably Republican now since Trump.

Before 2016, it was 50-50.

Poor white people vote GOP everywhere because muh culture war.

That's simply not true.

You're assuming that all poor whites are some rural "white trash" stereotype out of IceSpear's mind. There's in fact many poor whites in urban areas too, many of whom are not socially conservative at all. Think of single mothers, recent college grads who haven't landed a good job yet, LGBT people who aren't upper class, etc. Not to mention that a lot of these type of people can't hold a job or get a high paying job because of personal issues and mental illness, this is actually pretty common amongst intersectionalist feminists.

To answer the thread question, Democratic, like all other people in Minneapolis.

As a poor White people, I can affirm that I vote Democrat (very reluctantly and selectively), but am politically a Socialist. As for others, I find that they’re largely socially conservative, but are at least open to leftwing economic ideas (if not heavily inclined to them).

Democratic in the urban areas, Bristol County, the islands in Narragansett Bay and suburban ring around Providence. Republican in the rural areas of the state bordering Connecticut. This has been the case in state elections for a while but only became the case in presidential elections in 2016.

Entirely Democratic. Rich whites are the backbone of the Republican Party like they are in most of America.

Most vote Republican.  Of course, I live in a county that is Repubican in the way that the old South was Democratic.  The Democrats in my county ususally opt to not contest local elections.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority didn’t vote. Of those that do, 85 percent Republican.
