The polls in 2015 gave McCrory a +2.3 lead (https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/governor/nc/north_carolina_governor_mccrory_vs_cooper-4096.html)

Then 2016 polls overestimated Cooper.

So if Cooper is already at +4 this time around, it's looking good for him.
