SE Minimum Wage

Fellow Southeasterners, it is my pleasure to announce our citizens have recently set the minimum wage in Atlasia at $5.50 an hour. This past weekend, the citizens of the Southeast approved initiative 73 with a margin of 13 yea-5 nay- 2 abstain. This minimum wage shall stay in effect for twelve months, at which time the voters will assess the situation and revote.

We affirm that this wage will make it easier for hard working Southeasterners to make ends meet, and easier to take care of themselves rather than depend on government handouts. We understand that there is business opposition to this measure, but we hope they will see the benefits of their potential customers earning more money.
