No duh Manchin,

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/joe-manchin-elizabeth-warren-will-have-a-hard-time-in-west-virginia

You are the last of a long line of democrats to win statewide there for the foreseeable future.

Looks like her "real" campaign launch will be on Feb. 9th:

We need to abolish the useless and unnecessary distinction between "exploratory" campaigns and real campaigns

Did Pocahontas wear full tribal garb for her announcement?

Great message. Her delivery is off. Her smiles seem forced.

Of all the potential nominees, she'd probably be the best president.  Unfortunately, I don't think she's the best candidate.  It's a shame that the ability to govern and the ability to politic so often diverge.

Well, sad that she was the one to be so mired in anti-women bullish-t.

So you'd rather vote based on someone's ancestry than their policies?

Policy-wise, she's one of the biggest threats to the American economy right now.

Certainly to the current economic makeup of the economy (the top down approach), yes.

Whether that’s a bad thing or not...

Nice that Joe Kennedy endorsed her, hopefully pollsters stop including that aristocrat and this shows he's not running.

No, I’d prefer to vote for someone who doesn’t respond to every little criticism of them and then proceed to bungle that response. She should have just came clean with everything, apologized to the appropriate Native groups, and moved on. None of that DNA test bullcrap.

One way Trump can win re-election is by blowing his opponent’s dirty laundry out of proportion to create a false equivalency between his awful conduct and his opponent’s scandals (see: “but her emails”). The way Warren’s reacted to him trying to do this in the past gives me major pause. While claiming to be Native American on a bar exam is kinda a d¡ck move, it’s not the end of the world and she apologized for it. She should be forgiven because she’s pushing for policies that would benefit everyone including native Americans. I’m just afraid Trump will capitalize on this scandal effectively.

Great rollout -- Ed Markey there to endorse her, Joe Kennedy III thinks she'll win, comes out to Dolly Parton, hit all the right notes. No matter what you think of Warren, it's undeniable the speech was very, very good. She killed it. I'm thinking she's the one.

"Because the man in the White House is not the cause of what’s broken, he’s just the latest — and most extreme — symptom of what’s gone wrong in America.

A product of a rigged system that props up the rich and the powerful and kicks dirt on everyone else.

And so, once he’s gone, we can’t pretend that all of this never happened.

It won’t be enough to just undo the terrible acts of this administration.

We can’t afford to just tinker around the edges — a tax credit here, a regulation there.

Our fight is for big, structural change."

Rather than referring to it as a top down approach, it's probably more accurate to refer to it as Neo-Feudalism.

Bernie should endorse Warren and not jump in. I don't want the progressive vote split and she would easier absorb his voters than he would hers, who are not all hardcore progressives.

Listened to the kickoff speech on the radio and LOVED it. I know she is going to have electability issues but right now I’m rooting for her to win. Go Liz!

Elizabeth Warren is just not presidential material to me. Outside of the whole Native American stuff, she comes off as a nerdy professor. Coincidentally, that's exactly what she was before entering politics.

I like most of what she is proposing but she's just not electable. Also, she's not going to get even close to winning the primary.

She's the opposite of Trump, and that's what Democratic primary voters want.

If Trump wants to talk inheritance and ancestry, Warren should flip the script and talk about Trump's "ancestry," how he inherited half a billion dollars from his daddy through cheating and stealing.
