Vote FF to destroy Puritanical authoritarians Al Gore and Joe Lieberman, single handedly dismantle the PMRC, and bring America into a glorious New World Order of Generation X urban/suburban neoconservatism circa 2002.

talking very small groups here.

also yeah it is political but in like 2000.

also as a side note it's pretty funny I tried to report my own post just now and it said "you can't report your own post, that doesn't make sense!" or something of that sort. but some people just really dislike themselves so maybe some people reporting their own post does make sense to those people because they want to punish themselves lmao.

As an actual 90s kid, I think lumping these together is odd because they were not all that popular during the same time period. Jackass isn't 90s at all, it premiered in 2000. Moral panic over Marilyn Manson was more of a mid-90s thing. Yeah he had a fanbase and devoted following still in 2000, but he was kind of old news and people weren't really freaking out about him anymore, in fact when they were it was more accusing him of selling out, seeing as how his 1998 album had a fairly radio-friendly sound, the singles got frequent play on Top 40 stations, and it was promoted heavily on MTV shows that were primarily for promoting acts like the Backstreet Boys, it's kind of easy to see how he wasn't seen as much of a moral menace.

Anyway Horrible for both. Jackass was amusing as a teenager but just dumb today, and Manson was always just dumb, like all shock rock.

This song is heavier than anything Manson has done, and look at the band and their lyrical content!

Jackass proved that Steve O, who was a clown, in real life, can be dangerous, by other copy cats doing those same stunts.  Deaths have followed with condon in nose, swallowing goldfish and mud, car sliding.

But, Steve-0- FF didn't put himself in harms way.

Most kids can't do stunts the way Steve-O could, like I said earlier, he was a clown, and could take more punishment, with swallowing goldfish and tazers, that others have died from.  He was that Houdini of Jackass.

Jackass! = FF  If I was a younger man when cheap video cameras became ubiqtious I would have totally broken bones doing stupid sh**t on video

MM = boring   Art that is "shock" just for the sake of "shock" is often the most boring of all art.
