Did we clarify whether we're using the 2004 or 2008 primary schedule, since the turns seem setup for the 2008 schedule.

We were told 2004, but the way the turn is set up that is in no way correct...unless the GM plans to put D.C later, or disenfranchise them in the primary process.

I apologize. It seems my laziness and my recent lack of interest in politics due to Spyro has caused me to just feel like I don't want to play this game. I deeply apologize but I don't think I'll be able to play this game.

If you're talking about Spyro the game; then right on! Haha. Been playing it myself, a ton of fun.

Well, what we really need right now is some activity on the Republican side; the Democratic primary has been plenty active and interesting.

Well, if no Republicans participate, how about we play some of the Republicans, at least one or two? I'm perfectly comfortable playing Gore, but I could cook up a campaign schedule for a GOPer too.

I'm actually writing a Legend of Spyro fic, cause I like it more. If you want, I can show you the outlines for it so far. It's taking a lot of my time.

I wouldn't mind trying my hand at a Fred Thompson run; in fact I think he would be better positioned in a potential 2004 run than 2008 any way. Just not sure I'd have enough time playing in both the 2004 and 2020 games, and whatever replaces the other game that Lumine was running.

Well the Republican primary is officially Dick Cheney answering every question with prayer and Steve Garvey talking about his infrastructure plan to a crowd of probably 10 people.

Post maps!

Jeanne Shaheen / Al Gore - 53.4% (Or the other way, if you prefer Peanut  Mock )
Dick Cheney / Steve Garvey - 46.6%

If we go by a 6 point shift from the 2000 map which I think is what you're implying we end up with a map like this

Please, Hillary's more likely to be the Democratic nominee at this point than Shaheen is.

Kerry is as well, also I don't see Gore accepting VEEP again.

If necessary, I could write some things for a Republican, but I don't want to switch from Gore.

To be honest, I've lost interest in being part of this game, so I'm gonna drop out.

Question, if the Mod and most players agree to it, can changes be made to the timeline for a candidate?

I'm not the mod, but what is it? If it's something reasonable I wouldn't see why not, but if it's something game changing like Shaheen not running for Senate in 2002 then I'd have to say no.

I'm assuming we won't' let Shaheen run for reelection in 2002 so I can push through a major health care bill that might spice up the game a little, - if not, maybe I'll just transform it into Vermont Care for my 2020 game. Lol.
